Dudley Council Signs Contract with Equans for 2,500 Home Adaptations

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council has signed a new contract with Equans UK & Ireland to carry out adaptations on approximately 2,500 private and rental properties over the next four years. The two parties have a 20-year history of collaboration, during which time they have completed upgrades on more than 25,000 homes.

The adaptation works include bathroom renovations, installation of accessible showers, new flooring, fitting of grab rails, and associated repairs.

Jake Fellows, Regional Managing Director at Equans UK & Ireland, stated that the company has witnessed firsthand how small home adaptations can transform lives, enabling residents to live safely and more independently in their own homes. As a long-term partner of Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council, they have built strong relationships with tenants and customers over the years, and are delighted to continue building on these foundations through this new contract.
