en.Wedoany.com Reported - Liebherr-Australia has delivered the first Liebherr dozers for a mining fleet to MACA, a leading contractor in Australia's mining, infrastructure, and construction sectors, including three PR 776 G8 models.
The delivery of these machines marks a significant milestone in the partnership between Liebherr-Australia and MACA. Brian Boitano, Executive General Manager of Sales, Marketing, Training, and Solutions at Liebherr-Australia, stated that this latest delivery strengthens the long-term relationship and represents an important step in increasing the market share of Liebherr dozers in Australia.
Luke Birkett, General Manager of Assets at MACA, noted that the arrival of the three PR 776 dozers reinforces the partnership between Thiess, MACA, and Liebherr. Extensive planning and delivery efforts were made to ensure a smooth transition to the site. He highlighted that the long-term relationship with Liebherr supports projects both in Australia and internationally, and looks forward to continuing to develop this relationship in the future.
The PR 776 G8, launched at MINExpo 2024, replaces the previous G6 model as Liebherr's flagship mining dozer. It remains the world's largest hydrostatic dozer, capable of moving more material than comparable machines while consuming less fuel. The G8 model also features an updated electronic architecture, making the machine compatible with more Liebherr technology products and laying the foundation for future development.

Two R 9300 excavators are scheduled to join the MACA fleet in the second half of 2026. These 250-tonne class machines will be deployed to work in the Mid West region of Western Australia.
Brian Boitano stated that both the PR 776 G8 and R 9300 demonstrate significant advantages to Liebherr customers worldwide, and he looks forward to seeing the positive impact these machines will have on MACA's operations.
