en.Wedoany.com Reported - Zahit Aluminium has successfully commissioned and started production of a new 12-inch, 47 MN extrusion press at its Adana factory in Turkey. Since its launch, the equipment has been used to produce aluminum profiles for sectors such as structures, construction, frames, and photovoltaics, demonstrating stable and reliable performance.

Supplied by Italy's Danieli Breda, the press utilizes mature isothermal extrusion technology, enabling optimized control of the extrusion exit temperature to maintain consistent product quality throughout the production cycle. With a 1500 mm billet length, the new press achieves a stable cycle time of less than 17 seconds (including the degassing cycle) and features a short dead time. The equipment is also equipped with Danieli Breda's ESED 4.0 energy-saving system, which helps reduce actual power consumption during operation.

The new press is equipped with an advanced automation system that integrates a data acquisition and analysis platform (IBA) for production monitoring and process optimization. Operators can manage operations through a combination of industrial tablets and traditional control panels, further enhancing control, maintenance management, and remote assistance efficiency.

Combining energy efficiency and advanced automation, the equipment provides stable operational support for profile manufacturing across various industrial applications.

Founded by Zahit Balbay in 1983, Zahit Aluminium initially started as Turkey's first door and window joinery workshop. The company subsequently made significant investments in infrastructure, adding extrusion capacity in 1998 and expanding with multiple extrusion lines and surface treatment lines in the early 2000s to increase output and produce higher-quality products. Today, Zahit has become one of Turkey's leading companies, exporting products to 35 countries across four continents through a global network of stores and distributors.

As part of its current expansion plan, Zahit Aluminium has ordered a second extrusion press from Danieli Breda, expected to be installed in the coming months, which will further expand the plant's production capacity.
