en.Wedoany.com Reported - ZF Group India has secured three separate orders for advanced automotive test systems, covering battery testing, tire testing, and e-axle testing. These three contracts were awarded by three automotive testing agencies affiliated with India's National Automotive Testing and R&D Infrastructure Project (NATRiP), the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), and the Government of India, marking significant progress in the company's expansion of vehicle certification and safety infrastructure in the country.

The ZF TET.lab and 3E E-Mobility test benches, designed and customized for Indian tire manufacturers and automotive testing agencies, are capable of providing precise and reliable qualitative testing for India's most demanding road conditions.

As India continues to refine its regulatory framework for vehicle safety, quality, and performance standards, the demand for independent testing infrastructure is expected to grow. ZF Group stated that these contracts position it as a key technology partner for agencies responsible for vehicle validation, certification, and compliance testing, with its test systems supporting the "Make in India" initiative through high localization content.

In the field of battery testing, ZF's systems support validation at the cell, module, and battery pack levels, covering performance, durability, environmental, and mechanical testing requirements, and comply with international and industry standards such as UL, IEC, UN, IS, and LV124. In tire testing, India's updated safety regulations, including Quality Control Orders (QCOs), the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (BNVSAP), and AIS 142 TPMS requirements, are driving demand for advanced testing infrastructure. ZF's tire efficiency test bench platform evaluates rolling resistance and other tire performance parameters for motorcycles, passenger cars, and commercial vehicles. The company claims that over 500 million tires are tested globally each year using its test systems.

The third order involves e-axle and powertrain test systems. ZF's modular test benches can evaluate conventional transmissions and electric powertrain systems through configurable environments. The company noted that its global testing technology experience, including systems used to validate over 100 million transmissions, has helped build its credibility among customers and regulatory agencies.
