en.Wedoany.com Reported - Resolution Minerals (ASX:RML) has completed approximately one-third of its 2026 drilling program at the Horse Heaven Project, which targets up to 45 holes totaling 13,700 meters. To date, the company has drilled 4,470 meters, with an average depth of approximately 279 meters.

Two drill rigs are currently operating on site, with the company focusing on advancing one of the key targets at Horse Heaven, adjacent to Perpetua Resources' permitted Stibnite gold-antimony project.

The drilling program aims to explore extensions of gold mineralization at Golden Gate North and South, while also testing tungsten potential around the historic Golden Gate tungsten mine and a broad soil anomaly to the south.

Resolution Minerals has logged and photographed completed drill cores, inspected scheelite (a key tungsten ore mineral), and dispatched two large batches of samples for multi-element analysis.

Craig Lindsay, CEO of Resolution Minerals' US operations, said the company is satisfied with the drilling pace and the field team's ability to keep logging and sampling work synchronized with the rigs. Lindsay stated: "I am very pleased with the drilling progress we have achieved at Golden Gate South. All core requires careful logging, including but not limited to lithology, alteration, and mineralization, followed by proper sampling. In this regard, we are up to date. We have also submitted two large batches of samples, and we certainly look forward to receiving the results."

The 16 completed holes include HH-GG26-001 through HH-GG26-007 and HH-GG26-010 through HH-GG26-018. Samples from the first four holes (HH-GG26-001 to HH-GG26-004) have been sent for multi-element analysis, marking the first pending results of the 2026 drilling program. This update does not include any new drill core assay results or mineralization intercepts, which will be released after laboratory analysis is completed.

Resolution Minerals stated that these holes are designed to test potential extensions of known gold and tungsten mineralization at surface, depth, along strike, and below previous drilling. The company is also using the program to refine the geological model at Golden Gate South, logging drill cores for lithology, alteration, mineralization, and structure. Core recovery has been consistently high, approaching 100% in hard lithologies, with lower recovery primarily occurring in fault zones and near the collar.

Golden Gate previously yielded significant 2025 gold intercepts, providing a solid platform for Resolution Minerals' larger follow-up drilling this year. Previous drilling returned broad mineralized intercepts, including 253 meters at 1.50 g/t gold in hole HH-GG25-003C, 197.5 meters at 1.26 g/t gold in hole HH-GG25-001C, and 265.2 meters at 0.60 g/t gold in hole HH-GG25-002C.

The current program is testing whether the mineralized system can be extended and further defined at Golden Gate North and South. Tungsten is also a focus, with Resolution Minerals drilling around the historic mining area and soil anomalies, as critical minerals projects in the US continue to attract investor attention. Horse Heaven is strategically significant due to its antimony, tungsten, gold, and silver assemblage, with the Antimony Ridge target previously selected by the US Permitting Council for FAST-41 transparency coverage.
