en.Wedoany.com Reported - VASO Global has secured over £4.8 million in funding to promote its low-carbon construction technology based on recycled glass in the UK. The company integrates digital design, integrated manufacturing, and semi-autonomous construction techniques to deliver affordable, well-insulated, low-carbon, and rapidly built homes, responding to the UK's demand for faster housing construction.

The Dumfries-based company received £1.4 million in seed investment from PXN Ventures and £621,000 from Scottish Enterprise. It also secured a £2 million loan approved by Innovate UK Loans Limited, an agency of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), along with £800,000 from Eco Group, which will serve as the delivery partner for VASO Global's first construction projects. Previously, VASO by Eco had received £330,000 from South of Scotland Enterprise (SOSE) to advance the commercial rollout of its innovative recycled glass construction technology.
The latest funding will enable VASO Global to develop production processes at a new 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Dumfries, which will employ industrialized construction methods and is expected to create up to 70 jobs over the next five years. The funds will also help VASO Global identify strategic market channels and plan future investments over the next two years.
