en.Wedoany.com Reported - On June 30, CATL and J&T Express signed a strategic cooperation agreement to promote the large-scale deployment of logistics equipment such as new energy heavy trucks, light-duty logistics vehicles, and electric warehousing forklifts. The two parties will also jointly build green industrial parks to help the logistics industry reduce costs, improve efficiency, and achieve low-carbon transformation.
5,000+ Heavy Trucks with Ultra-Fast Battery Swapping, Pressing the Logistics "Accelerator"
Long-haul logistics is a race against time. CATL will provide a full set of battery swapping batteries, swapping station equipment, and operation and maintenance services for over 5,000 heavy trucks under J&T Express. The battery swapping mode allows heavy trucks to be "fully recharged" within 3-5 minutes, significantly reducing replenishment time.
From long-haul transport and urban distribution to warehouse operations, the full-scenario electrification upgrade can not only significantly improve fleet turnover rates but also accumulate highly competitive energy cost advantages over long-term operations.
Smart Parks "Peak Shaving and Valley Filling" to Reduce Electricity Costs
The upgrade of green logistics is not only on the road but also at the hub—logistics parks.
In the construction of above-ground complexes in parks, CATL will provide J&T Express with a full set of energy storage system products and services. The "peak shaving and valley filling" function of the energy storage system—charging during low electricity price periods at night and discharging during peak daytime hours—can effectively optimize the park's electricity load and substantially reduce operational electricity costs. At the same time, the new energy upgrade of the parks will further help J&T Express achieve its carbon operation targets, enabling it to confidently meet environmental assessment requirements under the low-carbon trend.
In the future, CATL will continue to work with partners, using the "vehicle + site" green dual engine to fully accelerate the low-carbon transformation of the logistics industry, ensuring that the logistics ecosystem not only runs fast but also runs efficiently and greenly.
