en.Wedoany.com Reported - Virnig Manufacturing, a US-based skid steer attachment manufacturer, officially launched a newly designed series of two-stage skid steer snow blowers in June 2026. The series underwent a comprehensive redesign based on dealer and customer feedback, aimed at helping contractors tackle a variety of winter operating conditions. The new models offer more customization options in width choices, auger configurations, and ski selections.
Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Rice, Minnesota, Virnig Manufacturing is a family-owned business specializing in the engineering and manufacturing of skid steer attachments. The company employs approximately 180 full-time staff, with product lines covering industries such as construction, landscaping, forestry, and agriculture. All attachments, from engineering and raw material cutting to machining, welding, and painting, are completed in-house. The newly launched snow blower series represents the company's latest innovation in winter snow removal attachments.
The new snow blower series offers four width models: 60, 72, 84 inches, and a newly added 96-inch option, along with five hydraulic motor options compatible with skid steer loaders and compact equipment with flow rates ranging from 14 to 45 gallons per minute. Operators can choose between paddle augers (for compacted snow and ice) or spiral augers (for lighter, powdery snow) based on snow conditions. The snow blowers are also equipped with 3/8-inch serrated auger blades designed to enhance performance under compacted snow conditions.
In terms of ski configurations, Virnig has expanded its options to include three versions: standard steel, gravel, and polyethylene, to suit different ground conditions. Additionally, a newly designed five-position adjustment system helps maintain consistent settings throughout the winter season.
The core driver behind this product line redesign came from direct feedback from dealers and customers, with a focus on enhancing the versatility of the products across a wider range of winter applications. Taylor Monson, Product Manager at Virnig Manufacturing, stated: "This redesign wasn't about fixing a bad product; our previous snow blowers performed well for customers. The new Virnig snow blower series combines proven performance with customer-driven improvements, aiming to make winter operations more efficient."
As the demand for winter snow removal continues to grow in North America, Virnig Manufacturing's new snow blower series further enriches its snow removal attachment portfolio, providing contractors, municipal departments, and snow removal professionals with more targeted equipment options.
