en.Wedoany.com Reported - Germany's GEA Group has launched the new KOB series homogenizers, characterized by high cost-effectiveness, delivering industrial-grade performance for small and medium-sized production plants. The KOB series offers a maximum working pressure of up to 400 bar and includes four models: 11, 22, 45, and 90. It is suitable for various industrial sectors such as food, beverage, chemical, and personal care, covering processes including homogenization and spray dryer feeding.

This series of homogenizers is designed for processors with limited space who require applicable homogenization performance. Its compact architecture stems from an optimized crankcase and gear reducer design, achieving high mechanical efficiency while generating less heat, noise, and vibration. The drive compartment requires no oil cooling or forced ventilation, thereby reducing the need for auxiliary components and lowering installation, maintenance, energy, and utility costs. The newly developed frame and coating reduce vibration levels and enhance durability, while the mushroom-shaped pump valves improve flow characteristics and feed stability, significantly reducing noise and cavitation, while increasing volumetric efficiency and extending component life.
The KOB homogenizers feature a compact footprint and low maintenance space requirements, making them suitable for new installations or replacing old equipment. Each model supports CIP (Clean-in-Place) and SIP (Sterilize-in-Place) functions and can be configured to meet 3-A sanitary standards. The steam-sterilizable full-stroke barrier chamber provides aseptic processing capability. The equipment can be equipped with a secondary pressure gauge and pressure transmitters for two homogenization stages and the outlet, enabling process automation control suitable for manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic production lines. Application areas include milk, dairy ingredients, beverages, plant-based formulations, as well as chemical, personal care, and cosmetic products.
