en.Wedoany.com Reported - Intel has quietly raised the official pricing of its Arrow Lake-S Refresh architecture Core Ultra processors, with two flagship models seeing increases of up to approximately 16%, adding extra cost burdens for users planning platform upgrades.

The price increase involves two products: the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus and Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, which are currently the only models in this series, launched in March this year. According to findings by HardwareLuxx, prices have been quietly updated on Intel's official product page. The Core Ultra 5 250K, originally priced at $199.99, has been raised to $229.99, an increase of nearly 15%. The Core Ultra 7 270K, previously priced at $299.99, now costs $349.99, an increase of about 16%.

In response to inquiries from HardwareLuxx, Intel explained: "The recent price adjustments reflect current market dynamics, including rising supply chain costs and strong demand for our Intel Core Ultra 200S Plus processors. These adjustments are consistent with recent price increases across other Intel product lines based on similar factors." This price hike comes at the same time as Intel announced the re-launch of 13th and 14th generation processors supporting DDR4 memory in the Chinese market, and earlier, the company had compared the Arrow Lake series with the AMD Ryzen 9000 series to highlight cost performance.
