en.Wedoany.com Reported - In the first half of this year, China Baiyin Nonferrous Metals Mineral Processing Company focused on the production of three major systems—copper, slag, and polymetallic—achieving the "half-year double target" in both metal output and recovery rates.
By the end of June, the copper system produced 2,943.378 tons of metal with a recovery rate of 95.11%, on par with the budget; the slag system produced 15,008.004 tons of metal with a recovery rate of 93.33%, 1.39 percentage points higher than the budget; and the polymetallic system produced 11,267.367 tons of metal, with recovery rates for copper, lead, zinc, gold, and silver reaching 66.46%, 83.27%, 89.34%, 83.90%, and 85.05% respectively, exceeding the planned budget targets.
In terms of technical breakthroughs in the slag system, the company has been advancing the mid-ore regrinding transformation project, the copper reduction flotation test for slag tailings, the sodium silicate dosage test, and the grindability test for feed materials, gradually establishing a process optimization path based on experimental data. The copper reduction flotation test identified the first-stage rougher reagent addition as a key control point. By optimizing the reagent distribution structure, a direction for improving tailings indicators was provided without increasing total reagent consumption. For the release of excess polymetallic capacity, the company has completed the ore blending plan, reagent system determination, and production organization preparations. The 55,000-ton copper-zinc ore production project is scheduled to commence formal production on July 15, with an expected additional output value of approximately over 30 million yuan.
