en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, the inauguration ceremony of the Artificial Intelligence + Scenario Innovation Center at the Academician Mao Ming Workstation, along with the launch meeting for the first batch of pilot projects, was held in Liyang High-tech Zone, Jiangsu Province, China. Academician Mao Ming, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chief Scientist of China North Industries Group Corporation, attended the event, along with over 100 representatives from Liyang municipal government, universities, research institutes, and industry chain enterprises. Qingyan Precision, as a core partner for the first batch of pilot projects, was invited to participate and formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the center.
The Academician Mao Ming Workstation, led by Academician Mao Ming, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chief Scientist of China North Industries Group Corporation, is established under the Innovation Center to conduct independent research and development targeting the main battlefield of the national economy and major national scientific and technological innovation needs. Incubated by Tsinghua University, Qingyan Precision focuses on the large-scale deployment of embodied intelligence in vertical scenarios, aiming to build an engineering foundation that connects the real physical world with AI models.
Mining environments, located deep underground, are typical high-risk and complex industrial scenarios. Underground mine tunnels are narrow, confined, dusty, and humid, with extremely harsh operating conditions that demand explosion-proofing, reliability, and environmental adaptability far exceeding those of surface industrial settings. Additionally, satellite positioning is completely ineffective underground, and communication network deployment is challenging, posing severe technical difficulties for robots in perception, localization, autonomous navigation, intelligent decision-making, and collaborative operations.
According to the agreement, the two parties will engage in deep strategic cooperation centered on mining industrial scenarios. Driven by major demands, they will leverage the technical platform resources of the Academician Mao Ming Workstation and Qingyan Precision's industrial expertise and physical AI engineering capabilities to jointly develop pilot projects for "AI + Mining Robots," creating embodied intelligent solutions for mining scenarios.
In the practical deployment of mining scenarios, Qingyan Precision has established a benchmark case of a data acquisition center at a mine and completed closed-loop validation. Following a closed-loop path of "site selection → calibration → data collection → takeover → replication," Qingyan Precision uses real data as a driver and engineering deployment as a guarantee, forming a positive cycle of "scenario validating technology, technology feeding back to scenarios."
