en.Wedoany.com Reported - Test spy shots of the new BMW X2 mid-cycle facelift have recently surfaced. As a mid-cycle update, the new model focuses on exterior and interior upgrades, and is expected to adopt BMW's latest family design language. According to current plans, the vehicle is scheduled for an official launch in July 2027, offering both a gasoline version and a fully electric iX2 variant.

Based on the spy shots, the front fascia is likely to feature BMW's latest family design. Although covered in camouflage, the kidney grille outline resembles that of the new BMW iX3, while the headlight cluster design will also be revised. The lower bumper retains a large rectangular air intake.

Judging by the window frame outline on the side profile, the vehicle is expected to retain the current model's shape and semi-hidden door handles. At the rear, the taillight design and fixed spoiler appear similar to the current model, with changes likely focused on the lower bumper area.

The interior is expected to adopt BMW's latest family design language, including a large central touchscreen, a new-style steering wheel, and a panoramic vision bridge. In terms of powertrain, the gasoline version will continue with the current 2.0T engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and will offer the xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The fully electric iX2 will be available in three variants, with the long-range version achieving a range of over 600 km, along with a high-performance M50 variant.
