A joint working group from the State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters has been dispatched to Guangxi to guide rescue and disaster relief efforts.
On July 6, due to typhoon and heavy rainfall, multiple reservoirs in Nanning and Guigang cities of Guangxi experienced dangerous situations. The Office of the State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters and the Ministry of Emergency Management have been continuously coordinating emergency response efforts, organizing joint consultations with departments including the China Meteorological Administration, the Ministry of Water Resources, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the Ministry of Transport. The National Emergency Command Headquarters has entered an emergency state.

At the request of Guangxi, the Ministry of Emergency Management dispatched two Wing Loong drones to the disaster area to ensure communication, and coordinated with the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration to allocate emergency supplies, ensuring the livelihood of the affected population. A total of 1,372 personnel from the national comprehensive fire and rescue teams, along with 270 vehicles and 140 boats, as well as 350 professional rescue personnel from the Natural Disaster Engineering Emergency Rescue Center (China Anneng Group) carrying equipment, have been dispatched to the scene.

The National Development and Reform Commission has urgently allocated 100 million yuan from the central budget to support Guangxi in post-typhoon emergency recovery, focusing on the restoration of damaged roads, water conservancy and other infrastructure, as well as public service facilities such as schools and hospitals. Recently, affected by Typhoon Maysak, the 10th typhoon of this year, many areas in Guangxi have experienced severe rainstorms and floods, resulting in casualties and property losses.

On July 6, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Emergency Management urgently allocated 160 million yuan in central natural disaster relief funds to support flood and geological disaster rescue and relief efforts in six provinces (regions): Guangxi, Hunan, Liaoning, Jilin, Anhui, and Shandong. The funds are primarily used for tasks such as searching for, relocating, and resettling affected people, emergency response including hazard removal and risk mitigation, investigation and emergency treatment of secondary disaster risks, and repair of damaged or collapsed houses.
