June marks the traditional off-season for the light truck market, but brand promotion activities remained active. Each manufacturer showcased its strengths, driving the total index score to a month-on-month recovery.
JAC 1 Card retained the monthly championship. On June 23, JAC launched new energy battery-swap products in Guangzhou, introducing four battery-swap models. Based on real logistics scenarios, these models feature comprehensive upgrades in chassis load capacity, power handling, and driving comfort. Among them, the EV5-81 kWh battery-swap version is designed for high-intensity operations in express delivery, supermarkets, and freight platforms, completing a battery swap in just 2 minutes; the Kaida EX6-81 kWh battery-swap version is equipped with CATL batteries and a Petrel 100 kW motor with a peak torque of 270 Nm; the Van Baolu-56 kWh battery-swap version features a lightweight body, with energy consumption below 17 kWh per 100 km and a cargo volume of 10 cubic meters; the Kunpeng ET9-81 kWh battery-swap version achieves 3.3 km per kWh, with a range of over 240 km at 90% battery capacity, suitable for urban distribution and short-distance intercity transport. In the same month, JAC 1 Card also held a launch event for the new Cummins 195 hp product and a celebration for the 10,000th unit of Anhui Cummins' new-generation 2.5L/3.0L engine in Hefei. The Cummins 2.5-liter 195 hp product is tailored for complex conditions in southwestern mountainous areas like Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, and Chongqing, with output power increased by nearly 20% at altitudes above 2,000 meters and plateau torque improved by 15%, using CBM intelligent fuel control algorithms to optimize energy consumption.
Sinotruk HOWO Light Truck ranked second. On June 18, it held a launch event for HOWO Light Truck LNG products in Lanzhou, introducing LNG-powered light trucks customized for urban logistics, with a peak torque of 450 Nm, paired with a large 8-speed gearbox achieving transmission efficiency over 98%. The low-speed, high-torque characteristics suit the frequent start-stop scenarios of urban logistics. Additionally, a batch of HOWO new energy light trucks was delivered to a major customer in Huizhou in the same month. These models feature large-capacity batteries and support 2C fast charging, reaching 80% charge in 18 minutes.
FAW Jiefang ranked third. On June 2, FAW Jiefang held a delivery ceremony for the first 500 units of the Jiefang Yuetu light-duty truck in Qingdao and signed a strategic agreement with a major customer. On the 70th anniversary of the rollout of China's first automobile, Jiefang Light Trucks also launched a story collection campaign titled "Jiefang Trucks, Jiefang People."
Farizon Light Commercial Vehicles moved up one spot from the previous month to fourth place. On June 26, a cooperation project between Geely Farizon and a Shenzhen customer was implemented, with the first 200 units of a 1,000-unit order for Farizon Xingxiang F1E electric refrigerated trucks delivered in Changsha. These vehicles will be deployed in cold chain logistics networks across multiple cities, covering scenarios such as fresh food, pharmaceutical delivery, and flower preservation. On June 25, at the national launch ceremony of the 2026 New Energy Vehicle Rural Promotion Campaign held in Tacheng, Xinjiang, Farizon showcased its full range of logistics vehicles, including Xingzhi T, Xingzhi H, Xingxiang V6E, V7E, V8E, and Xingzhi F3E.
Dongfeng Light Truck ranked fifth. On June 6, Dongfeng Motor launched the Dongfeng OpenVAN unmanned logistics vehicle brand in Xiangyang, Hubei, introducing four products: DF-2, DF-8, DF-25, and DF-60, covering scenarios from last-mile to trunk routes, supported by three technology pillars: smart brain, safety skeleton, and digital nerve. On June 13, Dongfeng Tuyi T7Pro held a national launch event in Shangqiu, Henan, with the selling points of "basement freedom and worry-free load capacity," aiming to address challenges in urban distribution.

Foton Auman ranked seventh, up from the previous month. In June, Auman launched a vehicle purchase benefits campaign, offering multiple incentives including insurance, interest-free financing, maintenance, and trade-in subsidies, with total value exceeding 10,000 yuan. In the newly added "Video Account Promotion" statistics, Dongfeng Light Truck led with a score of 34 points.
