en.Wedoany.com Reported - China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CEEC) Central Southern China Electric Power Design Institute (CSEPDI) and Envision Energy held talks in Madrid, Spain. The two parties plan to cooperate in areas such as energy storage, onshore wind power, offshore wind power, artificial intelligence data centers, hybrid energy, and green hydrogen-based fuels in the European and Latin American markets. They also agreed to leverage their respective strengths, enhance localized collaboration, and jointly explore key country markets.
Zhang Li, Deputy General Manager of CEEC CSEPDI, Chairman of CEEC International Company, and Chairman of CEEC Spain, introduced the overseas business layout of CSEPDI and its Spanish subsidiary, EAG. Zhang Li stated that CSEPDI has accumulated rich technical experience and engineering achievements in areas such as new energy, power grid planning, power transmission and transformation, gas turbines, energy storage, data centers, and integrated energy systems. EAG is familiar with Spanish and European market rules, licensing and approval processes, technical standards, and local supply chain resources, and can provide comprehensive services for overseas projects, including engineering design, grid connection, licensing support, and EPCM. Zhang Li pointed out that there is broad space for cooperation between the two parties and suggested establishing a regular communication mechanism starting with Spain and Portugal.

Peng Wei, Senior Vice President of Envision Energy, introduced Envision's business layout in Europe and Latin America. Envision Energy is accelerating market expansion in these regions, focusing on business directions such as energy storage, onshore wind power, offshore wind power, hybrid energy solutions, and artificial intelligence data centers. Envision will continue to strengthen its system solution capabilities and software platform capabilities, providing comprehensive energy solutions for scenarios such as wind power, energy storage, data centers, and PtX.
The two parties exchanged views on key directions including energy storage and hybrid energy, onshore wind power and repowering of old wind farms, offshore wind power, data centers, and green hydrogen-based fuels. Both parties believe that the rapid development of the European new energy market is driving the integration of photovoltaics, wind power, and energy storage, as well as the deep coupling of data centers and energy systems.
In the next step, the two parties will establish a dedicated coordination mechanism based on existing key country markets in Europe, focusing on directions such as energy storage and hybrid energy, onshore wind power, offshore wind power, and data centers. They aim to promote the formation of demonstration projects and tangible cooperation results, and continuously expand cooperation opportunities in Europe, Latin America, and other key overseas markets.
