en.Wedoany.com Reported - The 2026 China Green Hydrogen, Ammonia, Methanol, and SAF Industry Development Conference will be held from August 19 to 21, 2026, in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. It is co-hosted by Coalchemist (a deep-service ecosystem platform in the coal chemical industry) and Green Energy Island (a one-stop service platform for the green energy industry chain), with Sinopec Ningbo Engineering Co., Ltd. as a co-organizer.

The opening ceremony and main forum will focus on policy macro perspectives, overall industry landscape, and top-level design of the supply chain. Topics include authoritative policy interpretations on dual carbon targets, dual control of energy consumption, industry standards for green hydrogen, green ammonia, and green methanol, subsidy policies for comprehensive biomass utilization, SAF blending mandates, and carbon sink and carbon sequestration accounting rules. Macro-level industry reports will cover the supply-demand landscape of the national hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol industry, the current status and future capacity planning of the SAF industry, and a comprehensive analysis of the development of biomass gasification coupled with new energy chemical industries. Additionally, supply chain-themed sessions will address the low-carbon chemical feedstock guarantee system, regional coordinated supply of biomass feedstock, domestic substitution of core equipment, and cross-regional industrial chain collaborative development. Leading enterprises in the green hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, and SAF industry chain will deliver keynote speeches on new energy chemical layout, implementation cases of biomass coupling projects, SAF industrialization practices, and future strategic planning.

Special Forum I focuses on the high-quality development and supply chain construction of the green hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol industry. Topics cover large-scale implementation of wind-solar hydrogen production, construction of hydrogen storage and refueling systems, new processes and large-scale units for green ammonia, low-carbon synthesis of green methanol, green hydrogen coupling transformation of traditional coal chemical industry, energy consumption optimization, project economic analysis, and centralized procurement models for upstream and downstream supply chains. Special Forum II explores innovative practices in biomass gasification coupled with the hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol industry, involving the construction of collection, storage, and transportation systems for agricultural and forestry straw and residues; comparative selection of mainstream gasification technologies such as fixed bed, fluidized bed, and entrained flow; application of oxygen-enriched or pure oxygen gasification, syngas purification, tar treatment, and desulfurization and decarbonization technologies; biomass syngas coupled with green electricity for hydrogen production and coupled with ammonia and methanol synthesis processes; as well as biomass carbon sequestration, carbon sink asset development, and practical implementation and benchmark cases of county-level biomass circular economy projects. Special Forum III focuses on the full industry chain implementation and market application of SAF sustainable aviation fuel, including mainstream SAF production processes, diversified feedstock layout (waste oils, green methanol, biomass-based feedstocks), national standard certification and blending policies, civil aviation procurement standards, storage and transportation system construction, domestic and international market demand, and new project filing and capacity planning.

The roundtable salon will invite industry experts, project owners, technology and equipment providers, and investment institutions to conduct in-depth discussions on topics such as ensuring biomass gasification feedstock supply and cost reduction, energy consumption and carbon emission control for hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol projects, addressing the SAF feedstock gap, optimizing business models for multi-energy coupling projects, and unblocking bottlenecks in the industry and supply chains. The session will also release annual innovative technologies, benchmark projects, and industry development data.
