en.Wedoany.com Reported - Automoción y Movilidad Hispania (AMH), the distributor of Ford Trucks in the Spanish market, has expanded its collaboration with Farizon, the commercial vehicle brand under the Geely Group, by signing a new agreement to distribute its electric van range in Spain. This partnership, following the start of cooperation with the manufacturer's bus division in March this year, strengthens the strategic positioning of both companies in Spain's sustainable mobility market.
Distribution activities will commence immediately, with the first sales models being the Farizon SV (SuperVan) and the Farizon V7E. Both vehicles are fully electric, targeting professional transport, urban distribution, and last-mile logistics operations. This segment is becoming increasingly important as environmental restrictions tighten and fleet electrification progresses.
To expand this new business line, AMH has appointed Rafael García Valoria as head of the Farizon van division. The executive will be responsible for defining and implementing Farizon's commercial strategy in Spain, coordinating the growth of the distribution and after-sales network to consolidate the manufacturer's position in the Spanish electric commercial vehicle market. Through this personnel adjustment, the company expands its zero-emission vehicle offering for businesses and professionals seeking to reduce their operational environmental impact while maintaining efficiency and productivity.
This collaboration also marks a new step in the relationship between AMH and the Geely Group. Their cooperation in Spain began with the development of buses in 2026 and has now extended to the light commercial vehicle segment. AMH CEO Valentín Mariblanca views the agreement as an opportunity to continue expanding the sustainable mobility supply in Spain, expressing confidence in the brand's potential, vehicle quality, and the opportunities it brings to its commercial network and customers. Incorporating Farizon vans into AMH's product line will enable it to secure a position in one of the fastest-growing segments of professional electric mobility, through a model range designed to enhance operational efficiency, integrate advanced technology, and meet new sustainability requirements in transport. The agreement aims to accelerate the adoption of electric mobility solutions in Spain's professional transport sector, particularly in scenarios such as urban distribution and last-mile logistics, where fleet electrification is becoming increasingly important.
