en.Wedoany.com Reported - The 2025 National Science and Technology Awards Conference was held at the Great Hall of the People on July 8, with China Coal Technology and Engineering Group (CCTEG) winning a total of five scientific and technological achievements. The "Key Technologies and Equipment for Transparent Perception and Intelligent Prevention and Control of Mine Water Hazard Risks," completed by Xi'an Research Institute as the primary completing unit, won the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. Four other achievements, jointly completed by Xi'an Research Institute, Chongqing Research Institute, Taiyuan Research Institute, and Mining Research Institute, among others, won one Second Prize of the National Technological Invention Award and three Second Prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.

The project "Key Technologies and Equipment for Transparent Perception and Intelligent Prevention and Control of Mine Water Hazard Risks," led by Dong Shuning, Deputy Director of the CCTEG Science and Technology Committee and a top-level chief scientist, integrated industry innovation resources. It proposed a time-varying seepage disaster theory for mining-induced rock mass, developed ultra-long-distance underground detection and full-space monitoring and perception technologies and equipment for water hazard risks, and established a transparent geological platform for mines and a comprehensive technical system for intelligent water hazard prevention and control. This drove systematic changes in mine water hazard prevention and control technologies and equipment, enhancing China's autonomous capacity to secure mineral resources.

In recent years, CCTEG has continuously strengthened its scientific innovation philosophy, fostered an innovation ecosystem, intensified core technology research, promoted the transformation of achievements, and deepened reforms, steadily enhancing its scientific and technological innovation capabilities and generating a steady stream of high-level achievements.
