German Brabus Partners with AB Yachts to Develop First Yacht, Debuting in September

en.Wedoany.com Reported - German tuning brand Brabus has announced a new strategic partnership with AB Yachts to jointly develop the world's first Brabus yacht, scheduled to debut at the Monaco Yacht Show this September. A second global premiere is also planned for next year's exhibition.

Brabus has expanded its business from automotive tuning to sectors including marine and luxury real estate. The company is currently building an island that combines luxury residences with lifestyle spaces, targeting users seeking a "BRABUSIZED" lifestyle. This partnership with AB Yachts aims to translate Brabus's design DNA and high-performance philosophy into a premium yachting experience.

Details of the upcoming yacht model have not yet been disclosed. Brabus stated that the series will integrate the characteristics of both brands in performance, innovation, and design, transforming the Brabus Masterpiece concept into a new type of high-end yachting experience, emphasizing "the highest level of stylish elegance, confident high performance, and meticulous attention to detail."

The two companies released a dark teaser image showcasing a sleek yacht with a sloping roof and spacious glass cabin, complemented by a streamlined hull, a relatively short aft deck, and a small swim platform.

Other details of the Brabus edition yacht remain confidential. The parent company of AB Yachts stated that its yachts are built with jet propulsion systems, enabling smooth, silent cruising without vibration, at speeds exceeding 50 knots (approximately 58 mph). The company offers various models, with hull lengths ranging from 25.4 meters (83 feet) for the AB 80 to 39.65 meters (130 feet) for the AB 130, the latter accommodating up to 12 guests and 5 crew members.

Brabus CEO Constantin Buschmann said that as the company advances the Brabus Marine project with partners AXOPAR and Sunreef Yachts, this partnership opens a new dimension, combining Brabus's pursuit of bold design, personalization, and detail with AB Yachts' expertise.
