en.Wedoany.com Reported - Tesla has launched a Robotaxi service in Miami that does not require a safety driver to supervise, but according to publicly available information, only a few vehicles are currently operating on the road, and the company has not disclosed the fleet size.
Ashok Elluswamy, head of the FSD project, confirmed that these Robotaxis are driving with no one inside the vehicle. Tesla also released the geofenced area where the vehicles can operate, covering approximately 10 to 14 square miles. Miami is the first city in Florida to launch this service.

The third-party tracking platform Robotaxi Tracker has not even listed Miami among Tesla's Robotaxi operating cities. Some observers have counted license plates and found that the actual number of deployed vehicles is extremely small. Additionally, a user spotted a Cybercab in Tampa last Saturday, and it is expected that services will soon launch in Tampa and Orlando as well.
Market analysis shows that Tesla's share of the U.S. Robotaxi market has not grown this year. Waymo still holds a dominant position, while Zoox ranks second after a surge in market share. The debate surrounding Tesla's autonomous driving technology continues: some believe this expansion signals that the Robotaxi and full self-driving revolution is imminent; others argue it is just another chapter in a decade-long scam.
