en.Wedoany.com Reported - The China Forging Association will hold the "2026 Open Die Forging Process, Equipment, and Inspection Digital Technology Conference" from August 12 to 14, 2026, in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. With the theme "Digital Intelligence Empowers the Forging Future," the conference focuses on the full-process intelligent closed loop in the open die forging field, from design, simulation, production, equipment, and inspection to data. It aims to address common challenges in traditional open die forging processes, such as reliance on experience, difficulties in process traceability, and data silos, through digital means, promoting the deep integration of digital technology and forging processes.

As a core forming process for large forgings and key components, open die forging holds an irreplaceable position in China's strategic fields such as aerospace and energy equipment. Currently, China's forging industry is at a critical window period for transitioning from "manufacturing" to "intelligent manufacturing." Production scenarios involving multiple varieties, small batches, and customization create an urgent demand for digital technology. This conference is hosted by the China Forging Association and organized by Lanzhou LS Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. The participation fee is RMB 2,200 per person for members and RMB 2,900 per person for non-members, with a 10% discount for two or more attendees.
