en.Wedoany.com Reported - French metrology services company Asgard Group, through its subsidiary Sofimae, has acquired the calibration businesses of two companies to expand its service network in this field. The acquisition involves Omega Électronique in France and Lab Services Maroc in Morocco, with the specific amount undisclosed.

Omega Électronique's laboratory, founded in 1993 and located in Morières-lès-Avignon in the Vaucluse department, specializes in the repair and calibration of electrical, torque, pressure, and temperature measurement equipment. Asgard Group President Luc Petitjean stated that by integrating measurement fields, equipment, and expertise, Sofimae will broaden its service scope and strengthen its presence in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (PACA) region.

Lab Services Maroc, established in Casablanca in 2015, enables Sofimae to enter the Moroccan market through this acquisition. The laboratory holds ISO 17025 certification for 11 physical quantities, allowing its Moroccan clients to access related certification services. Additionally, customers of two other Asgard Group subsidiaries—AOIP, a manufacturer and distributor of measuring instruments, and Dimelco, a distributor of test and measurement equipment and vibration measurement solutions—will benefit from localized technical support.
