en.Wedoany.com Reported - Yandal Resources reported the latest reverse circulation drilling results from the Siona prospect within its Ironstone Well-Barwidgee gold project in Western Australia, as announced on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

The program comprised nine drill holes, primarily targeting shallow gold mineralization southwest of the main Siona structure. Among the results, hole 26IWBRC0084 intersected 17 meters at 1.30 grams per tonne gold from a depth of 37 meters, and hole 26IWBRC0074 intersected 13 meters at 1.50 grams per tonne gold from 45 meters.

Other significant intercepts include: hole 26IWBRC0086 intersected 10 meters at 0.90 grams per tonne gold from 36 meters, including high-grade intervals of 1 meter at 2 grams per tonne gold from 36 meters and 2 meters at 3.20 grams per tonne gold from 40 meters; hole 26IWBRC0080 intersected 10 meters at 0.90 grams per tonne gold from 58 meters, with 1 meter at 3.70 grams per tonne gold at 67 meters.

Yandal stated that these drilling results have delineated a shallow, gently dipping gold mineralization zone southwest of the main Siona mineralized structure.

Managing Director Chris Oorschot commented that the results indicate a near-horizontal gold mineralization zone containing several discrete high-grade intervals. He noted that the shallow nature and consistent geometry of the mineralization are encouraging, which will enhance the resource potential of the Siona prospect.

However, the company also noted that due to the weathered and oxidized characteristics of the intercepts, it is currently unclear whether the mineralization is connected to the main structure or represents secondary mineralization within the regolith.

The 950-meter drilling program followed Yandal's gold discovery at Siona in late 2024 to early 2025, aimed at testing mineralization beneath previously identified shallow intercepts.

Yandal plans to conduct further reverse circulation drilling in the second half of 2026 to determine whether the mineralization extends along the main Siona trend.

Additionally, the company plans to commence reverse circulation drilling at Salusa in the coming weeks. Broader air-core drilling at New England Granite will begin after heritage approval is obtained. Yandal expects to release an updated exploration target for Siona in early August.
