en.Wedoany.com Reported - Russian automaker AvtoVAZ reported its first-half performance, with total sales of its Lada and Iksait brand vehicles reaching 154,752 units. The market share of the Lada brand is estimated at approximately 25%.

From January to June 2026, the group's production volume increased by 3%, with both operating profit and net profit showing positive trends. The company plans to allocate the funds obtained to its investment program, which will exceed 40 billion rubles in 2026.

Under the Special Investment Contract (SPIC), AvtoVAZ's investment obligations through 2030 amount to 100 billion rubles. This target has already been exceeded by 57%, with total investments surpassing 157 billion rubles.

Company President Maxim Sokolov stated that, given the current market and macroeconomic conditions, the company confirms a positive forecast for its full-year financial performance. He also noted that the company will continue to modernize its production complex and deepen process automation. As planned, production and sales of the new crossover "Lada Azimut" will be launched in the second half of the year, and new powertrains will also be used for the "Vesta" and "Iskra" models. These new products are expected to maintain the planned sales growth rate.
