en.Wedoany.com Reported - Austrian landscaping company Hertl Gartengestaltung took delivery of a brand-new Ruthmann/Bluelift SA22 tracked spider lift in mid-July 2026. The equipment was sold and delivered by Jessica Wölkart of Ruthmann Austria. It is powered by a lithium-ion battery pack, with a maximum working height of 22 meters and a horizontal outreach of 10.5 meters at an 8.5-meter overhang height. The machine is also equipped with a 1kV insulated platform, with a maximum platform capacity of 230 kg.

Founded in 1998 by David Hertl, Hertl Gartengestaltung is headquartered in Ebersdorf an der Zaya, Lower Austria, near the border with the Czech Republic. After nearly three decades of development, the company has grown from a small gardening business into a professional service provider integrating garden maintenance, landscape design, and construction, covering private gardens, public green spaces, and commercial landscape projects. The acquisition of this aerial work platform marks a new step in the company's equipment specialization.

The Ruthmann/Bluelift SA22 is a compact tracked spider lift under the Bluelift brand of Germany's Ruthmann Group. With a track width of only 0.94 meters, it can pass through narrow passages as tight as 1 meter wide; the overall machine length is 5.20 meters, height 1.97 meters, and weight approximately 2,990 kg. Under a 100 kg platform load, the maximum horizontal outreach reaches 10.9 meters; the platform dimensions are 1.3 m × 0.7 m × 1.1 m, accommodating two operators and work tools. The equipment is also equipped with an asymmetric stabilization system that automatically calculates the outrigger deployment status to determine the safe working range. The SA22 model has been on the market since 2021, and this delivery is the latest version equipped with lithium-ion batteries.

This equipment will primarily be used for Hertl Gartengestaltung's tree care operations and building facade maintenance. For landscaping companies, spider lifts enable flexible operation in complex terrain and narrow spaces, significantly improving the efficiency and safety of tree pruning, pest control, ancient tree protection, and high-altitude landscape construction. The lithium-ion battery power system achieves zero emissions and low-noise operation, offering significant advantages in noise-sensitive work environments such as residential areas, hospitals, and schools. This equipment acquisition will further enhance the company's comprehensive service capabilities, particularly in the field of high-altitude operations in complex terrain and confined spaces.
