Kleis Equipment Expands Develon Availability in New York and West Virginia

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Kleis Equipment is set to open a new Develon location in Avon, New York, which will give the company four branches once completed. Meanwhile, its existing location in Belington, West Virginia, will also introduce the full line of Develon products.

The new Avon location is a 16,000-square-foot newly constructed facility designed to expand service coverage for contractors, landscapers, municipal departments, loggers, and farmers in western New York, with a focus on the Rochester and Interstate 390 markets. The location will initially be staffed with 6 to 8 employees, including a full-time parts and service manager.

Marshal Oberer, branch manager in Avon, stated that the selection of Avon took into account market coverage, customer convenience in accessing Develon equipment, and growth opportunities for Kleis Equipment. Western New York has a large number of contractors with a real need for convenient access to construction equipment.

In West Virginia, Kleis Equipment's existing Belington location will soon offer the full range of Develon compact and heavy equipment to local contractors.

Kleis Equipment has been owned and operated by John Kleis for nearly 20 years and joined the Develon dealer network in 2018 through its location in Constantia, New York. Other brands represented by the company include Barko, Kioti, Hustler, CSI, Ponsse, Bush Hog, Quadco, Rotobec, Bandit, Husqvarna, and Terex.

Rusty Harsh, general manager of Kleis Equipment, said that adding Develon construction equipment at the Belington location will help the company serve existing and new customers across multiple industries with quality, durable products and drive business growth.

Develon recently introduced the updated model of its smallest articulated dump truck (ADT), the DA30-7. The truck has a payload capacity of 62,000 pounds and features a completely redesigned cab with a more automotive-style experience, similar in style to its sibling model, the DA45-7. Both the new DA30 and DA45 will be available this summer.
