en.Wedoany.com Reported - Stellantis Group released its second-quarter 2026 shipment forecast, projecting global shipments of 1.6 million vehicles, a 10% increase compared to the same period in 2025. The shipment growth is primarily driven by the North American and European markets.

In the North American market, the Group's second-quarter shipments increased by approximately 122,000 vehicles compared to the same period in 2025, a 38% rise. The growth mainly came from newly launched or refreshed products, including the Ram 1500 HEMI V8, the new Ram 1500 TRX SRT, the refreshed Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Grand Cherokee, and the refreshed Chrysler Pacifica. Additionally, the continued sales growth of the all-new Jeep Cherokee and the new two-door and four-door Dodge Charger SIXPACK also contributed. This data also reflects preparations for the summer production shutdown.

In the European market, benefiting from an overall increase in industry sales, the Group's second-quarter shipments rose by approximately 39,000 vehicles compared to the same period in 2025, a 5% increase. The growth came from Stellantis Group brands and Leapmotor brand models, with battery electric vehicle shipments being the main driver. Shipment growth for Stellantis brands was primarily driven by recent new product launches, including strong demand for Smart Car platform models such as the Citroën C3 and C3 Aircross, Opel/Vauxhall Frontera, and Fiat Grande Panda, contributing approximately 41,000 incremental units, a 51% year-over-year increase. In the C-segment, the all-new Jeep Compass also made a positive contribution, adding about 8,000 units. This growth was partially offset by a decline of approximately 28,000 units in shipments of traditional B-segment SUV models (including the Jeep Avenger, Fiat 600, Opel Mokka, and Peugeot 2008). Driven by strong demand for the T03 and B10 models, Leapmotor brand shipments increased by approximately 25,000 units year-over-year, reaching 33,000 units.

In the Middle East and Africa market, the Group's second-quarter shipments decreased by approximately 4,000 units year-over-year, a 3% decline. In the South American market, shipments decreased by approximately 7,000 units year-over-year, also a 3% decline. In the Asia-Pacific market, shipments remained flat compared to the same period last year, holding at 16,000 units.
