en.Wedoany.com Reported - Indiana American Water announced the construction of a new 1.5 million-gallon elevated water tower in the Innovation Mile area of eastern Noblesville to support the rapidly expanding region around Hamilton Town Center. The project is part of a $15 million system investment that also includes additional storage facilities, upgrades to two booster pump stations, and a third phase of new main pipeline work.
Located on Olio Road near Noblesville Fire Station 77, the water tower stands nearly 150 feet tall and features a concrete base and steel tank design. Recently completed, the tower displays the Noblesville city brand on its south side and the Indiana American Water logo on the opposite side.
The comprehensive project will increase storage capacity, enhance system reliability, improve water pressure, and strengthen firefighting capabilities across the community. Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen stated that adding the water tower near the city's 600-acre Innovation, Technology, Sports, and Entertainment District will support continued growth in the eastern part of the city. Ryan Bane, Engineering Project Manager at Indiana American Water, noted that the project demonstrates the company's ability to strategically plan with the City of Noblesville to meet the community's long-term needs.
Construction of the elevated water tower and related system improvements is expected to be completed and operational by early October 2026. The company thanked the City of Noblesville, Hamilton County, and the project management team—including Caldwell Tanks, Inc., Tank Industry Consultants, Culy Contracting, F.A. Wilhelm Construction, American Structurepoint, GFT Infrastructure, and Aqualign Engineering—for their support and collaboration. Funding for the project comes from statewide customer rates.
