ATS Cranes S.A. has put a new Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 mobile crane into service, a 5-axle crane replacing the approximately ten-year-old LTM 1200-5.1. Managing Director Frédéric Kleinhans stated that the company compared several manufacturers and chose Liebherr again based on the overall combination of quality, price, and service, having been satisfied with the previous model for years, and considers the LTM 1230-5.1 a logical next step.

The new mobile crane has a maximum lifting capacity of 230 tons and is equipped with a 75-meter telescopic boom, one of the longest in its class. A key feature is the VarioBase® system, a technology that enables high lifting capacity even in confined spaces and provides additional performance reserves in the rear working area.

Kleinhans noted that the combination of the long telescopic boom and the double folding jib significantly enhances the crane's flexibility, allowing the company to efficiently handle a variety of tasks, from traditional construction sites and industrial projects to assembly work.

The LTM 1230-5.1 seamlessly integrates into ATS Cranes S.A.'s existing fleet, which primarily consists of Liebherr equipment. A special aspect is that, in addition to technical performance, emotional factors also played a significant role in this investment. To commemorate the company's upcoming 25th anniversary, ATS chose a striking paint scheme featuring the colors of the Luxembourg flag. Kleinhans stated that the color scheme is a highlight, warmly received by customers and congratulated by competitors.
