en.Wedoany.com Reported - Skyjack has confirmed that its SJ22 TE+ fully electric off-road straight boom lift, developed specifically for the Chinese and Southeast Asian markets, will begin shipping from its Tianjin factory next month.

The SJ22 TE+ is a sister model to the 85-foot SJ28 TE+, launched late last year, featuring a raised boom pivot point, a three-section arm, and a jib with a 230-degree articulation angle. These configurations enable a working height of 22.3 meters, a maximum horizontal reach of 15.2 meters with a 300 kg platform load, and 13.5 meters with a 454 kg platform load.

The overall machine width is 2.5 meters. With the jib folded, the storage length is 9.65 meters and the storage height is 2.65 meters; with the jib extended, the storage height is 2.57 meters and the total length increases to 11.94 meters. The total machine weight is 10.5 tons.

The power system is supplied by a set of 460Ah lithium-ion batteries, requiring approximately 5 hours for a full charge. The battery pack powers a large AC induction traction motor, driving all four wheels through the Skyjack axle drive system. The front oscillating axle is equipped with a limited-slip differential, and the rear axle features an operator-controlled differential lock. The hydraulic system is powered by an independent AC motor-driven pump, with standard configuration including a secondary protection system with automatic reverse function for the final function.
Skyjack President Charlie Patterson stated that the company has become an industry leader by offering machine features that combine durability, quality, and maintainability. The new series of electric straight boom lifts, designed specifically for the Chinese and Southeast Asian markets, maintains simplicity and reliability while providing an environmentally sustainable option for the rental market.
