en.Wedoany.com Reported - The National and Local Co-built Humanoid Robot Innovation Center's Pilot Public Service Platform was officially launched in Shanghai on the same day. Located in Zhangjiang Robot Valley, Pudong, Shanghai, the platform has established an integrated pilot closed-loop system covering R&D prototyping, precision assembly, full-item testing, warehousing, and delivery. It has an annual capacity of 2,000 complete machines and 2,000 sets of core precision components, providing key technological support for the embodied intelligence industry in Pudong and the Yangtze River Delta region, from R&D to mass production.

The National and Local Co-built Humanoid Robot Innovation Center (referred to as the "National and Local Center") is a national-level innovation platform approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and jointly established by the Shanghai Municipal Government and China Electronics Technology Group Corporation. Officially established in Zhangjiang, Pudong, Shanghai at the end of 2023, the center is positioned as the country's first open-source co-creation platform in the humanoid robot field, aiming to build a common service platform integrating technology R&D, achievement incubation, talent cultivation, and platform support. As the country's first pilot zone for artificial intelligence innovation application, Pudong New Area has continuously leveraged its core advantages in institutional innovation, open environment, and industrial chain integration in recent years.

The newly launched Pilot Public Service Platform represents a key step for the innovation center in promoting the industrialization of humanoid robots. The pilot stage serves as a bridge connecting laboratory R&D with large-scale production, playing a crucial role in reducing enterprise R&D and production line costs and verifying manufacturing processes. By establishing an integrated pilot closed-loop system, the platform can provide full-process services from prototype trial production to small-batch production for upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain, effectively accumulating standard processes and measured data, and helping enterprises accelerate product iteration.

The launch of this platform will effectively reduce R&D and production line costs for humanoid robot-related enterprises, providing critical infrastructure support for the embodied intelligence industry cluster in Pudong and the Yangtze River Delta region. This move will also accelerate the transformation of innovation achievements from the laboratory to commercialization, helping the Yangtze River Delta region build a world-class artificial intelligence industry hub.
