Mota-Engil signs €185 million transportation contracts in Mexico

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Mota-Engil announced on Monday that its subsidiary, Mota-Engil México, has signed two new transportation infrastructure construction contracts with a total value of approximately €185 million and a combined duration of 16 months.

In a statement submitted to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM), Mota-Engil stated that the contracts include the construction of a viaduct on existing road infrastructure, as well as the development and execution of an urban mobility project in one of the country's major cities. The urban mobility project involves new infrastructure (bridges, roads, and dedicated public transport lanes), along with the provision of a transportation system and the implementation of an automated fare collection system.

Mota-Engil noted that through these new contracts, Mota-Engil México ensures the growth and diversification of its order book, consolidates its position as a comprehensive engineering services provider, and expands its geographic coverage in Mexico.
