The company expects to create 940 jobs across various development phases of the project. Operations involve two business lines: one focused on manufacturing automotive cables for electric vehicles, and the other on producing computer cables for technological infrastructure used in data centers.
According to the project timeline, the automotive cable plant will begin production in November 2026, while computer cable production will start between September 2027 and January 2028. At that point, the company will expand capacity to meet demand from North America's automotive, energy, and telecommunications sectors. LS Cable & System is one of the world's largest cable manufacturers, developing solutions for energy, telecommunications, electric mobility, data centers, and industrial sectors. By expanding operations in Querétaro, the company strengthens Mexico's participation in the global supply chain.
