These projects are critical to Timor-Leste's future energy ambitions. As part of the contracts, Fugro will conduct extensive site characterization programs under challenging offshore conditions, including geophysical, seismic, and autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) surveys, covering deepwater areas with water depths exceeding 3,000 meters.

The project will deliver comprehensive seabed intelligence and geotechnical insights to support pipeline route planning, engineering design, geohazard assessment, and the safe execution of offshore operations.

Fugro will combine advanced AUV technology with real-time support from remote operations centers to enhance operational efficiency, data quality, and project oversight capabilities.

Survey data will be processed and quality-controlled through Fugro's regional data centers in Kuala Lumpur and Perth to streamline project delivery and provide timely, high-quality insights to support informed decision-making throughout the development process.

Project mobilization and planning activities are expected to commence in the third quarter of 2026, with offshore survey operations scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter.
