en.Wedoany.com Reported - Hoist UK, a British manufacturer of lifting and handling systems, has designed and produced a custom portable gantry system for sanitary environments.

The equipment was manufactured in-house to meet the client's specific handling and environmental requirements. The portable gantry features an adjustable height design, allowing operators to lower the system to safely pass through doorways, then restore it to maximum height for operation after repositioning. This design flexibility enables the system to be used across multiple rooms without compromising lifting capacity.

The core component of the system is a specially designed electric belt hoist housed in a 316 stainless steel enclosure, suitable for sanitary conditions. The complete solution includes a double-beam raised bridge structure to increase lifting height, anodized aluminum track profiles, and leg assemblies, with a maximum load capacity of 250 kg and a span of 3 meters. The system height can be adjusted between 2.4 meters and 2.9 meters via crank handles on both sides, allowing for controlled and smooth adjustments. Additionally, the gantry supports variable speed lifting and movement along the bridge beam to meet precise positioning needs.

Hoist UK states that every application scenario is different, and when standard equipment is not suitable, the company works closely with clients to develop custom lifting solutions. From cleanrooms and sanitary production facilities to specialized manufacturing environments, the company's in-house design and manufacturing team can provide application-specific custom lifting systems.

Founded in 2006 and led by Tony Dickson and Paul Jordan, Hoist UK initially served as the UK distributor for the French brand Verlinde. It now offers design, manufacturing, and installation of various lifting and handling equipment, including overhead cranes, electric chain hoists, Performer winches, and shackles, serving clients in the UK and international markets. Earlier this month, the company also supplied and installed a free-standing jib crane for a client, aimed at improving safety and efficiency in manual handling operations.
