en.Wedoany.com Reported - NetShape México has added a new manufacturing plant in the FINSA Industrial Park in Querétaro, Mexico, with a total investment of 239.36 million Mexican pesos, expected to create over 260 jobs. This move expands the company's local footprint and once again highlights the attractiveness of the state of Querétaro to the international automotive industry.

At the plant inauguration ceremony, Querétaro Mayor Felifer Macías stated that the new facility reflects the city's competitiveness and acknowledged the collaborative efforts between state and municipal governments and the private sector in attracting productive investment. He noted that such projects drive economic growth and expand job opportunities for local families.
The new plant will help NetShape México increase production capacity, enabling it to meet the needs of the global automotive industry from a more strategically advantageous location. This investment also strengthens the supply chain network in the Bajío region, one of the key hubs for automotive manufacturers and suppliers in Mexico.
NetShape's parent company, Shape Corp. (a U.S. company founded in 1974), operates across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, serving a client base that includes several leading global automakers. The company began operations in Mexico in 2004 and has been manufacturing in Querétaro since 2010. The company stated that Querétaro has become a strategic location for meeting its growth plans and the needs of international clients.
The completion of the new plant confirms NetShape's confidence in Querétaro's industrial environment. The state continues to attract high-value-added manufacturing projects thanks to its well-developed infrastructure, ample professional talent, and logistical advantages within the automotive industry chain. This expansion by NetShape further solidifies Mexico's manufacturing capabilities in the global supply chain.
