en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 20, Romania's Allview Energy secured an EPC contract for a 50.9MWp solar power plant in the central Transylvania region, with a contract value of approximately €20 million. The solar EPC project, awarded by Res Invest South East Europe, is located in Turda, Cluj County, and involves the construction of a centralized solar power plant along with a 20/110kV substation.

Allview Energy's scope of work includes engineering design, equipment procurement, installation and construction, testing and commissioning, as well as two years of operation and maintenance services after the project becomes operational. The solar EPC project is expected to generate over 54,000 MWh of electricity annually, meeting the power needs of approximately 18,000 households and reducing CO2 emissions by about 16,000 tons. For Romania's renewable energy market, the signing of the EPC contract marks the transition of the project from the development phase to the construction execution phase, with subsequent work focusing on modules, inverters, mounting structures, booster stations, and grid connection engineering.

The solar EPC project was developed in collaboration between PRESEE and Waldevar Energy, and is PRESEE's first renewable energy project to enter the construction phase in Romania. Upon completion of this project, PRESEE also plans to advance a 90MWp solar project in Brasov County, paired with a 200MWh battery energy storage system. By securing this 51MWp solar EPC project, Allview Energy will further expand its business scale in Romania's domestic renewable energy engineering and construction market.
