en.Wedoany.com Reported - German metal 3D printing (additive manufacturing) digital trading platform and metal powder supply chain service provider Qualloy has signed a distribution agreement with Constellium to sell Constellium's Aheadd CP1 aluminum powder, developed specifically for additive manufacturing, in the European market.

Qualloy to distribute Constellium's Aheadd CP1 aluminum powder in Europe

Under the agreement, Constellium's Aheadd CP1 material will be sold to European customers through Qualloy's online marketplace and web shop. The two companies stated that the material will be stocked in Germany starting in August, enabling Qualloy to ship orders to various locations across Europe within a short time. Qualloy will offer the material in collaboration with Rosswag Engineering, which has additive manufacturing expertise in powder handling, qualification, processing, and application development.

Rosswag Engineering also uses Aheadd CP1 in its own additive manufacturing operations, which the company says provides a technical foundation for supporting its customers.

The agreement combines local German inventory with shorter delivery times and a competitive pricing structure. Customers can access technical support and dedicated contacts through Qualloy and Rosswag Engineering. Constellium stated that this arrangement is part of its strategy to expand the accessibility of Aheadd CP1 through distribution partners, particularly for customers seeking flexible order quantities, fast delivery, and local support.

Yannik Wilkens, CEO and co-founder of Qualloy, said that by signing this distribution agreement with Constellium, the company is strengthening its access to this advanced additive manufacturing aluminum powder. Collaborating with Rosswag Engineering not only enables fast supply from Germany but also provides European customers with technical expertise and practical application experience.

According to Constellium, Aheadd CP1 is an aluminum-iron-zirconium powder developed for additive manufacturing, containing no volatile elements, rare earths, silicon, or ceramic particle additions. The material offers high strength and ductility, good thermal and electrical conductivity, high processing productivity, and simplified post-processing workflows. Constellium stated that Aheadd CP1 has been used in additive manufacturing applications for aerospace, defense, and motorsports. This distribution agreement complements Qualloy's metal powder product portfolio, positioning the company as a digital marketplace for sourcing and comparing additive manufacturing materials.
