The A220 has a total capacity of 137 seats, higher than the E190's 108 seats, and features a premium cabin called "Breeze Ascent": 12 seats arranged in three rows of four (2-2) at the front of the aircraft, followed by the A220's typical 3-2 economy layout.

According to data from Cirium aviation analytics, three of the seven new routes originate from Tampa. The Tampa to San José, Costa Rica route launches on October 3, 2026, with two weekly flights; the Tampa to Cancún, Mexico and Tampa to Montego Bay, Jamaica routes both launch on December 19, also with two weekly flights each. Michael Stephens, CEO of Tampa International Airport (TPA), said earlier this year that he is pleased Breeze Airways is adding these routes, offering travelers more opportunities to experience the beauty and culture of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) will also welcome several new routes. Starting January 7, Breeze Airways plans to operate three weekly flights to Cancún, Mexico and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, with both routes running through March 23.

Richmond International Airport's (RIC) Cancún route launches on January 8, with two weekly flights operating through March 22, featuring a flight time of 3 hours and 46 minutes over a distance of 2,045.5 kilometers (1,271 miles). The seventh and final new route departs from John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) to Punta Cana, with two weekly flights from January 8 to March 22 and a flight time of approximately four hours.

Despite continued international expansion, international routes still account for a relatively small share of Breeze Airways' overall network. In December of this year, Breeze Airways' scheduled international flights from the U.S. total 68, compared to 8,476 domestic flights in the same month. In the full-year 2026 scheduled flight plan, domestic flights total 85,024, while international flights total 394.

During December, Breeze Airways' most frequently operated international route is Tampa to Nassau, Bahamas, with the A220 flying 4 to 5 times weekly; among domestic routes, Orlando to Raleigh-Durham leads with three daily flights.
