deugro establishes LNG logistics joint venture in Papua New Guinea
en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 27, deugro and Jerilai Pujari Transport Limited (JPTL) established a joint venture, Purari Project Services Limited (PPSL), in Papua New Guinea to provide sea freight and project logistics services for a major local LNG development project. PPSL will support the transportation of materials, cargo, and equipment from Port Moresby to the project construction site along the Purari River.
JPTL represents the relevant landowners of the PRL-15 license area through Jerilai Pujari Holdings Limited (JPHL) and Native Industries Limited. The PPSL joint venture structure also makes provision for the subsequent participation of recognized landowner joint venture organizations affected by the river and pipeline development.
deugro stated that the joint venture will combine its project logistics and sea freight capabilities with JPTL's local transport resources to provide logistics services for the relevant project packages. deugro has been operating in Papua New Guinea since 2007 and has previously been involved in logistics transportation for local energy and infrastructure projects.
