Periskop Logistics Receives Approval for New 20,000 sqm Logistics Facility in Pohlheim

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 1, Periskop Logistics confirmed that the building supervisory authority of the Giessen district in Germany has issued construction permits for its two logistics real estate projects at Am Pfahlgraben 4-10 in Pohlheim, Hesse. The two projects are densification developments on an existing logistics site, with a total gross floor area of approximately 20,000 square meters—one building of about 12,000 square meters and the other of about 8,000 square meters—scheduled for completion in 2027.

Both projects are currently in the development phase following the issuance of construction permits, and the relevant spaces have not yet been leased. Periskop Logistics stated that parts of the planning can still be adjusted at this stage to meet the operational needs of future tenants, with target tenants including logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, and light industrial companies. The projects are being advanced by Periskop Logistik Fonds and represent new construction within the fund's existing asset portfolio.

Both logistics buildings are being planned by Goldbeck. According to information published by the developer, the projects will be built in accordance with its established technical and environmental standards and will feature flexibly configurable space solutions; upon completion, the relevant areas will be available for lease, and rental applications are already open.

The project site is located directly adjacent to the German A5 motorway, and the buildings will be clearly visible from the motorway, with access to both Giessen and Frankfurt via the existing road network. According to the project schedule published by Periskop Logistics, both new buildings are planned for completion in 2027, at which point approximately 20,000 square meters of new logistics and light industrial space will be ready for leasing.
