Wedoany.com Report-Jun 25, Goldbeck Solar, in partnership with Octopus Energy Generation, has started construction on the 48MWp Perrinpit Road Solar Farm in Bristol, UK. This project, the company’s fourth largest since re-entering the UK market in 2022, will supply clean energy to over 12,900 households and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 6,096 tonnes each year.

The solar farm prioritizes sustainability and biodiversity preservation. Goldbeck Solar is implementing measures to minimize environmental impact during construction, such as adjusting work schedules to avoid disrupting bird breeding seasons. Upon completion, the project will include extensive landscaping efforts, such as seeding green areas and planting new trees to restore and enhance the local habitat.

Tobias Schüßler, Chief Operating Officer of Goldbeck Solar, stated: “With the Perrinpit Road solar farm, we demonstrate that sustainable energy production and environmental protection can go hand in hand. Despite the complex geographical conditions, our approach is based on careful planning and innovative solutions to ensure successful implementation. At the same time, we place great emphasis on protecting nature and restoring the local environment. This way, with the 48MWp Perrinpit solar park, we are not only creating a sustainable energy source but also contributing to enhance the local biodiversity.”

The Perrinpit Road Solar Farm is expected to be completed by April 2026. The project reflects Goldbeck Solar’s commitment to balancing renewable energy development with environmental stewardship, ensuring both clean energy production and the preservation of Bristol’s natural landscape.
