en.Wedoany.com Reported - From January to June 2026, the total extraction of ore gold and placer gold in Russia's Amur Region reached 7.64 tons, a 1% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
According to data released by the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Amur Region, ore gold production in the region amounted to 6.22 tons, while placer gold production totaled 1.42 tons. Compared to the same period in 2025, ore gold output increased by 6%, while placer gold output decreased by 16.5%.
Leading producers include several units under the Atlas Group of Companies. In the Selemdzhinsky District, Malomyrsky Rudnik LLC produced 2.88 tons of gold; TEMI LLC extracted 901 kilograms of precious metals from the Elginskoye deposit; and in the Zeysky District, Pokrovsky Rudnik JSC produced 1.81 tons of gold.
Another major gold mining enterprise in the region, Priisk Solovyovsky JSC, extracted 1,192.2 kilograms of gold during the reporting period, including 628 kilograms of ore gold and 564.2 kilograms of placer gold.
Data shows that in 2025, the Amur Region's total gold production was 20.11 tons (a 6.3% increase compared to 2024), including 12.53 tons of ore gold and 7.58 tons of placer gold. The gold mining season in the region typically runs from May to October.
