Wedoany.com Report-Nov. 16, Cadeler, a Denmark-based offshore wind installation firm, has won two significant contracts totaling around €500 million ($578 million) for transporting and installing wind turbines and foundations at a planned offshore wind farm.

Both contracts are contingent on the client’s FID.

The agreements encompass complete transportation and installation services for both components.

Foundation work will begin in early 2029 using one of Cadeler's new A-class vessels. This represents the company's third full-scope foundation installation project.

Turbine installation is slated to start in early 2030 and finish by late that year, employing one of its O-class jack-up vessels.

Both deals depend on the client's final investment decision. If the project does not advance, the contracts could end with a termination fee applied.

In September, the company secured a deal with Ocean Winds for transporting and installing turbines at the 390 MW BC-Wind project in Poland's Baltic Sea area.

These latest awards highlight Cadeler's expanding capabilities in handling large-scale offshore projects. The A-class vessels, designed for heavy loads, enable efficient foundation deployment in deeper waters, while O-class units excel in precise turbine placement.
