Wedoany.com Report-Dec.22, Recently released data from Saskatchewan, Canada shows that the province's crop yield for 2025 reached a record high of 41.9 million tonnes. This figure represents a 13.7% increase compared to 2024 and is 24.1% higher than the average yield of the past five years.
Saskatchewan's Agriculture Minister David Marit stated, "Despite many producers facing challenges during this growing season, Saskatchewan's overall production has increased this year thanks to the resilience and innovation of our producers." This growth in crop yield puts the province on track to achieve its long-term production goal of 45 million tonnes by 2030.
