Hainan Free Trade Port's First Seventh Freedom Flight Route Takes Off

Wedoany.com Report-Dec.22, At 08:05 on December 21, under the supervision of Sanya Airport Customs, a subsidiary of Haikou Customs, flight DV481 from Sanya to Prague, Czech Republic, took off from Sanya Phoenix International Airport. This marks the successful launch of the "Sanya-Prague" route, which has become the first seventh freedom flight route to commence operations in the Hainan Free Trade Port.

The seventh freedom, also known as the full third-country traffic right, refers to the right of an airline from one country or region to operate independent routes entirely outside its own territory, carrying passengers and cargo between two foreign countries or regions.

This route is operated by Kazakhstan's SCAT Airlines using Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft, with one round-trip flight scheduled per week.

To ensure the smooth launch of the route, Haikou Customs established a coordination mechanism with the airline and the airport, providing tailored guidance on key aspects such as route filing and emergency support. They deepened the application of smart supervision equipment and smart passenger inspection scenarios, strengthened the synergistic effect of big data, and implemented precise prevention and control measures. By obtaining flight schedules and passenger information in advance, they opened expedited customs clearance channels for special personnel and deployed a multilingual consultation service team to ensure smooth cross-border travel with meticulous service.
