Recently, three newly constructed schools in Iraq's Model School Construction Project have successfully passed their final acceptance. During the acceptance process, the acceptance team held discussions with representatives from the schools to gain a detailed understanding of the schools' actual operational status over the past year since they were put into use, including facility utilization and feedback from teachers and students. Subsequently, accompanied by school representatives and project management personnel, the acceptance team conducted a comprehensive inspection of the architectural finishing, water and electricity installations, and other engineering aspects of these three schools, with a particular focus on testing the operation of key facilities such as the water and electricity systems.
The acceptance work covered multiple aspects, including building structural safety, details of finishing craftsmanship, standardization of water and electricity pipeline installation, and equipment compatibility. After item-by-item verification, the acceptance team unanimously agreed that the construction indicators of all three schools meet the relevant standards for Iraq's Model School Construction and approved the final acceptance. With this, the project has cumulatively completed the final acceptance procedures for 20 schools.
The project team stated that they will continue to strictly control engineering safety and quality, diligently perform maintenance work for the accepted schools during the warranty period, and promptly respond to any needs raised by the schools. Meanwhile, the team will accelerate the acceptance process for the remaining schools and the signing of the final handover certificates, aiming to continue providing support for the improvement of local educational infrastructure.
