Altitude's total procurement volume now exceeds 720,000 tons of CDR. Under this significant agreement, Altitude will obtain over 360,000 carbon dioxide removal certificates (CORCs) from Alcom's biochar carbon removal facilities located in the Philippines and India. These certificates will be issued through the Puro.earth platform to ensure independent verification, traceability, and long-term permanence.

Alcom Founder and CEO Prateek Tiwari and Carbon Director Siddharth Kaul stated, "This partnership helps accelerate the deployment of high-quality CDR capacity, achieving long-term climate benefits and delivering value to local economies." Through these projects, biochar carbon removal technology locks away carbon dioxide in a solid form, effectively manages waste biomass, and creates economic benefits.
