Evers & Sons recently won the bid for a compressor station expansion project in Texas. The plan is to add six new compressor units to the existing facility to enhance natural gas transmission capacity. This project will increase the number of operational compressors at the station from three to nine, implemented in two phases. It aims to optimize regional natural gas infrastructure and improve compression efficiency.

Mobilization for the first phase of the project commenced this week, involving civil engineering work along with the manufacturing and installation of Compressors 4 and 5. The first phase is expected to be completed in approximately eight weeks, with demobilization scheduled for April. The second phase is planned to begin in early June, primarily involving the installation of Compressors 6 through 9.
Evers & Sons will be responsible for key aspects in-house, such as manufacturing and on-site construction, to ensure the project progresses efficiently. Upon completion of this expansion, the compressor station's compression capacity will be significantly increased, helping to support higher system throughput and meet regional natural gas transmission demands. The company stated that this project is a crucial step in strengthening Texas's natural gas infrastructure, which will promote stability and reliability in energy transmission.
